Shipping Information

Free ground shipping is available for orders above $150CAD originating from Canada. This is however, not applicable for oversized and made-to-order items. Shipping charges for these items are calculated at check-out. Any additional shipping fee would be communicated when applicable.

A flat rate shipping fee is applicable for orders originating from Canada and the US that do not qualify for free shipping.

While all our packages are shipped with tracking, we ask that you endeavour to carefully monitor this as we would not be responsible for any stolen or misplaced packages that have been confirmed as delivered.

In the case of returns/refund, please note that you will be responsible for the shipping charges, as well as any duties, taxes, and/or customs charges that have been incurred on the package. This will be subtracted from refund amount. 

Processing times vary by product as most of our products are custom made. Our products are hand made by artisans based in West Africa. To ensure quality, our production timelines typically range between 1-12 weeks but might take longer in some instances. We would surely notify you in the event of a possible delay.

In the event of a delay, please rest, assured that we will do everything possible within our power to process your order as quickly as possible.

As much as we do our best to ensure prompt delivery on all your orders, we cannot be held liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure situations which are absolutely beyond our control. Kindly note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or statutory holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or after 12pm on weekdays will not be processed until the next business day.

Canada Shipping

We offer free shipping for Canadian orders ( through Canada Post) above $150CAD while a flat rate shipping fee ($20) is offered for orders that do not qualify for free shipping. 

For express shipping, please note that rates and postage times will be calculated at check-out based on total weight, dimensions, and shipping address of the parcel. We do not ship to P.O Boxes at this time.

US shipping

Free shipping is presently not available for orders from within the United States. However, a flat rate shipping is charged for orders over $150 CAD.

You will also be responsible for the payment of any cross-border fees associated with your order.

For oversized and made-to-order items, shipping fees will be calculated at checkout with any additional charges communicated.

International Shipping

For international orders, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on total weight, volume, and shipping address.

Please note that these shipping costs do not include additional customs fees or duties, which may be incurred depending on the final destination of the shipment. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide rates for customs and/or duty fees as these are not fixed and vary depending on the delivery country and the type of items that were purchased.

Oversized items aren’t eligible for international shipping.

Returns and Exchanges

 We hope that you love your purchase as much as we loved making them. However, in the event that you are not completely happy, we accept returns/exchanges on all unused items with their original tags and packaging within 30 days of the delivery date.

To initiate returns/exchanges, please notify us by email or call (306)- 450-1204 or speak with our customer service team within 5 days of item delivery. Our team will assign a return authorization number for the return/exchange and send the return/exchange information via email before you attempt to send the order back to us. All goods returned with the intent for exchange or refund, must be in perfect condition, with their original tags and packaging intact. Please note that exchanges/returns requests will only be accepted within 30days from order delivery. Made-to-order and sale items cannot be returned.

You are however responsible for shipping the items back to us (including any cross-border fees that may be incurred). We strongly recommend that you use a trackable service for all returns/exchanges, as we would not be responsible for any return/exchange items that get lost or damaged in transit. 

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used. Exchanges will be shipped out within 3-5 days after receipt of the original item. Please allow 7 – 14 business days for the funds to appear on your statement. DGCI Design reserves the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not comply with the return/exchange policy.

Cancellations

We are unable to outrightly guarantee that orders can be canceled or adjusted once placed. However, you can give a cancellation notice by email to [email protected] Mondays through Friday (10.30am – 3.30pm) within 12 hrs of placing an order to get confirmation about whether your cancellation request will be processed.

DGCI design reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason, at any time.

 Sales Tax

 Taxes are charged based on your shipping address. All Canadian orders will be charged provincial tax rates. All US and international orders will be subject to customs charges and/or duties as applicable.

Orders placed on Mondays to Fridays will be processed and shipped within 2-3 business days based on stock availability. All orders placed on weekends and on statutory holidays will be processed the following business day. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed and shipped.
